Cattedrale di San Ciriaco Consecrated in 1128 and completed in 1189, Ancona's cathedral is an example of Romanesque architecture, a revival of the times of arches, domes and vaults. Built out of grey stone, the church is in the form of a Greek cross. Carefully restored in the 1980s, it retains much of its original composition.
